Graham's koi
A 1.2m Siberian Sturgeon
As you may know this year has brought a lot of changes to Sturgeon Web. Our founder has moved on to pastures new and has left the Sturgeon-Web and Orchard Fisheries web sites to me. I hope to continue Graham's no nonsense informative pages and good service.

To Graham I would like to say thanks for everything over the many years I have known and worked with you and wish you all the best in your travels and new ventures. The fish keeping industry will miss you. Cheers!
Also, due to new EU rules on the movement of animals, the sending of fish via carriers has changed. The new rules state that the carrier must either be the owner of the animal or competent at looking after and handling the animal. This in effect ends sending fish with overnight carriers. This ruling affects all live vertebrates including fish. The only exception is humans?

A lot of waffle but this basically means that all sending of fish overnight with parcel carriers is now against the regulations unless they have an Animal Transport Certificate. This counts for fish farms, wholesalers, aquatic shops and auction sites. As such we have removed the sturgeon for delivery section on this and the Orchard Fisheries web sites.
Please take a look at our other fish keeping/sturgeon site at Pond life
The pond life site has some more in-depth information on sturgeon species and care. There are also features on koi and other pond fish, wildlife ponds etc and a forum for questions and help.
